1)"CraftBook is a heavily customizable plugin that adds a number of new mechanics to Minecraft with no client mods required. "

I played on a server that had this plugin installed, it adds several new mechanics that improves the construction options, even more for those who are trying to create an adventure map (like me). your new mechanics are totally customizable and do not crash the server. Craftbook already supports the world edit natively (as far as I know). Heres a short list of features:

  • Redstone ICs (Logic gates, Sensors,¬†Many others)
  • Elevators for your server so people can jump between floors quickly. (Or smoothly, if you choose so)
  • Working cauldrons so players can cook inside them.
  • Your own custom crafting recipes.
  • Hidden switches for players.
  • Togglable areas and bridges.
  • Chairs you can sit on.
  • Working pipes that can transfer items from place to place.
  • Footprints where your players walk.
  • Mobs and players drop their heads.
  • The ability to bind commands to items, with cool-downs, permissions and timers.
  • And much more...¬†(Seriously, check the wiki)
  • What the feature is (e.g.¬†I would like to be able to set my¬†plot time.)
  • Where the feature you want is on the server, or if it is across all servers (e.g.¬†I would like this feature on the creative server.)
  • Who the feature should be for, whether this is everyone, donators, staff, or as a reward for voting¬†(e.g.¬†I think this should be a reward for voting for the server.)
  • Why you want the feature (e.g.¬†I think this would be a good idea so we aren't limited to just day on our plots.)

2)This features I wanted obviously implemented in Creative server

3)Part of this feature can be for donators and part for everyone, you can choose this

4)I personally would like this plugin because I think it would be convenient at least until the command block comes back to work;

Hello,

Thanks for your feature request - It's one of the few I've seen, but none the less I'd like to thank you for taking the time to suggest new features you'd like to see.

Whilst there are quite a few parts of the plugin that I feel aren't that useful for a creative server (custom crafting recipes, mob drops, and a few others), I agree that there are quite a lot of features in the plugin that appear to be useful for a creative server (mainly the redstone-side & minecart features from what I've read so far). The plugin also appears to be in active development, which is good for ensuring the plugin will continue to work alongside future Minecraft updates (unlike our command block system). Therefore, I intend to put the plugin onto our test server over the next few weeks (ideally want to get Survival release out of the way first) in order to check the plugin is compatible & doesn't bypass any restrictions, before getting it up and running on our main server.

4)I personally would like this plugin because I think it would be convenient at least until the command block comes back to work;

At this stage, if I am being completely honest, it is unlikely we will see the return of a command block system for a while - the system we were using was buggy, insecure (which resulted in a lot of commands blocked), and rarely updated, which ultimately lead to the decision to move on to 1.12 and stop supporting command blocks. In an ideal world, command blocks would still be running, however unfortunately until I can confirm that there is a working system that is regularly update (I'm not having it where a version is released a few months after a MC version release, and then no updates for another year- constant enable / disable of a feature is worse long-term than one removal), I won't be installing it. Sorry for any dissapointment, however I feel this is the best decision to avoid too many issues (handling complaints from 1 removal is far easier than complaints each MC update when the plugin breaks again) - if that makes sense.

Again. thanks for the request, and if you are celebrating it, I wish you a happy Christmas. If you need any updates on anything I've mentioned, feel free to reply.

Thank you for continuously proving that this server is the best I have played (by far), I am always available (if necessary) to test the plugin and find possible bugs.

I also agree that some of the features of the plugin are basically unhealthy on a creative server, I believe it's up to you to decide which features are not going to be activated on the server.

On the part of the command block, I was honestly surprised to know that the server already had one day support this, command block is really very unpredictable, so in the end I think it is better a secure and stable server without command blocks, than on the contrary.

I'm sorry for giving you headaches this holiday, merry Christmas and happy new year.

I think at some stage early next year I should make our test server available to all users, allowing players to experiment with some potential features, which may be bugged - however more people messing around with them will help discover bugs quicker, which is good - so I will certainly let you know when the plugin is available to be tested.

I imagine it is possible to disable some of the features that would be useless (well, not very useful is probably a better way to word it), either through the config file or permissions, which minimises increase in load, which is ideal.

On the topic of command blocks, there were 2 plugins that supported them - 1 where the developer was being paid to update it (and ended up giving up by the looks of it - that's the latest one we used), and the other which became annoying when Mojang switched the command block GUI around to be client side, and the other plugin switched to using chat messages to set blocks - which made long commands extremely annoying (and we had to come up with some work arounds which were impractical to say the least). If they were to come back to the server, I'd ideally want to be confident enough in Java to be able to update it myself if it came to that stage, and additionally wouldn't go back to advertising them as a feature at any stage.

Hope you're having a good Christmas day - as a thanks for your donation today, I've given you an extra rank-up to Redstone as a thank you for your generosity.

Thank you, not only for the rank up, but for making this server possible, donations whenever I can is the least I can do to thank.

Happy christmas for you and your family, thank you
