This update has taken effect as of 1/1/2018. Please use the plot flag guidance below in bold to set your plot to a fixed time.

Hello all,

This is just an announcement to warn everyone of a small change that will take place to our creative server over the next few weeks (looking early January at the latest). This is a feature that has been requested for quite a while, however has not yet to be implemented.

Up until now, by default all plot times are set to a fixed day time, with the option to all players of using /plot flag set time  in order to change their plot time to another static value (whilst this was initially a donator-only command this was moved to all players a few months back in preperation for this change, which was forgotten about until now).

Due to the requests for the option to have a time cycle on plots, we have come to the decision to perform this in the following way, as this is the easiest & most efficient method to implement the feature. As of a few weeks from now, the server will no longer default to day time, and instead will use the Minecraft time cycle as the base time. Thus, any plot without a time flag set will benefit from daylight cycles (whether this be useful for roleplays or otherwise).

If you do not wish to have the time cycle enabled, then I advise you to set a static time on yur plot with the plot time flag option mentioned above. The use of /plot flag set time 6000 will set your plot time to 12:00PM (mid-day) constantly, meaning when the time cycle is implemented, you will not notice it.

Thanks for your continued support, we hope you like this feature addition. If you have any other feature requests or criticisms, feel free to let me know over the forums or other methods, and these features will be considered.

This probably has an easy and quick answer, but how would I remove a static time, if I already have it? You only explained how I would set one.

Good point, I overlooked people wanting to remove that option. I believe that /plot flag remove time should get rid of the time flag (or replacing time with the name of any other set flags will remove those instead).
