Hello all.

Today I am writing to inform you of some large changes to our network staff: of which some are permenant, and others are for short term.

Firstly, I'd like to congratulate PolarBearsHD on becoming moderator - after a long time being trial mod, I felt it was time to rank him up. Along with this, we have now taken on a new trial mod to continue our expansion of the server staff team: I'd also like to congratulate Lx35z on now being a trial moderator, as well as a member of the server build team.

-- Congratulations over --

On a more serious note, I am stepping down from owner for a few months. It's getting extremely close to my exam period, and I have a lot of exams at the end of this year, of which they are fairly important, and therefore I need to prioritise revising for, and doing well, in these exams over the server. Whilst I will still be available, I won't be on as much, and new feature releases will slow down a bit, with only urgent updates and bug fixes being made. My exams are between the 17th May and the 17th June, so I am stepping down now so that I have enough time to prepare for these exams over the holiday.

Whilst I will be around from time to time, mainly for development work, we need someone to take control for the time being, who should be seen as the 'Acting' or 'Temporary' owner: I am handing this duty over to Cloudyspore790, who's been moderator for longest on the server, and is on quite a bit.

If you need any assistance, I suggest asking regular staff members first, and if they are unable to answer your queries they will be able to pass the message on to me, and I'll try and deal with it to the best I can in my time away from revision.

I will be back as owner again after the 17th June, and from there on with no exams to worry about for another 6 months, I'll be adding a whole load of new features to both the server and the website.
